Local councils continue to support the draft law №1135-1 “On civilian weapons and ammunition”

At the meeting on April 12, 2017, the Volyn Regional Council decided to appeal to the President of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to accelerate the consideration and adoption of the Draft Law of Ukraine No. 1135-1 “On Civilian Weapons and Ammunition”.

In addition, representatives of the National Corps initiated the adoption of an appeal to support the bill 1135-1 in Velyky Berezny district of Transcarpathian region.
Thus, by the decision of March 16, 2017, Velyky Berezny District Council also adopted an appeal to the leadership of the state to speed up the consideration and facilitate the adoption of the draft Law “On Civilian Weapons and Ammunition”.

Earlier, such appeals have already been sent to the leadership of the state: Kyiv Regional Council, Zaporizhzhia Regional Council, Kyiv City Council, Cherkasy City Council, Cherkasy Regional Council, Lutsk City Council, Lviv City Council and Varash City Council.
Let us remind that according to the results of the conference “Arms – your right. Protection is your duty”On January 26 in Kyiv, the National Corps and the Ukrainian Association of Gun Owners sent an appeal to the heads of all other regional councils to initiate their decisions to appeal to the President of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with a demand to consider and adopt the draft Law “On Civilian Weapons and Ammunition” as soon as possible.
