Even its employees do not remember such a number of visitors at the shooting complex “Berkut”, because on May 28, the holiday of fans of weapons, which has already become traditional for Kyiv, was held for the first time in Dnipropetrovsk.
So, GUN OPEN DAY, MAY’2011 – Dnipropetrovsk offered its visitors traditional competitions in three most popular classes: “pistol”, “carbine” and “hunting rifle”.
In the overall standings, the prizes were distributed as follows:
Serhii Havrylov took the first place.
Maxim Starykov took the second place.
Third place – Sergey Kuzmin.
It should be noted that the organizers of the event – the Dnipropetrovs’k branch of the Ukrainian Gun Owners Association – paid special attention to ensure that those visitors who were not involved in the competition did not get bored.
Those interested participated in test drives of “Land Rover” and “Jaguar” cars provided by the partner of the event – “Aelita Premium” company.
Impressive by the number of exhibits collection of Japanese knives “Itamae” constantly attracted attention, and near the exhibition stands of Italian weapons “Fabarm” and ammunition “Baschieri & Pellagri” always continued lively discussions.
And while the adults were doing their own things, the children under the supervision of instructors were taking master classes in shooting from various bows and crossbows.
There were also free areas with riding horses and ponies and stands for throwing knives and axes.
