The first open event of the Ukrainian Gun Owners Association Gun Open Day was a success. We congratulate each other and thank all the participants of this unforgettable event.
On the eve of the event, weather forecasts were not encouraging. They promised rain, and even showers. Undoubtedly, with weapons in hand, nothing stands in the way, but the mood could be somewhat spoiled.
But as if by order, the day of May 15 became bright and sunny from all sides. It was once again proved that weapons are not a continuous negative, as most people used to think. Weapons are a test of our level of culture, our Europeanism and intelligence.
Throughout the day, a friendly cheerful mood reigned in the sports and shooting complex “Sapsan”. Even the course of the competition was easy and relaxed, everyone first of all received unforgettable impressions and pleasure from shooting.
The competitions were held in three most popular classes: “pistol”, “carbine” and “hunting rifle”.
Victor Petrenko became the winner. Oleksii Tur and Oleksandr Kondratiev also successfully demonstrated their shooting skills and took the second and third places respectively.
In addition to the competitions, it was really interesting to watch master classes and demonstrations of athletes of the International Confederation of Practical Shooting and representatives of the club of knife fight fans “Blade”.
We are sure that Gun Open Day has started a good tradition.
