Results of the first stage of UIAA awareness-raising actions near the Cabinet of Ministers and the Prosecutor General’s Office

From July 18 to 20, 2017, the first stage of educational actions of the Ukrainian Association of Gun Owners took place under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Prosecutor General’s Office.
During this action, the employees of these institutions received hundreds of leaflets from our activists with a list of UWSA’s demands to bring regulations and documents in line with the requirements of the Constitution of Ukraine.
On July 19, an appeal to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman was officially registered with a detailed justification of the illegality of the Permit System of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
On July 20, a statement was filed to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko demanding to bring to justice judges, prosecutors and investigators who since 2007 have passed more than 52 thousand sentences on Ukrainian citizens under the illegal article. 263 of the Criminal Code.
